On the 8th November 2022 we will experience not just a full moon in Taurus but also a Lunar Eclipse in the sign of Scorpio. Today marks the end of eclipse season which lasted from the partial solar eclipse we had on the 25th October right till the 8th November with the total lunar eclipse. This period in-between is called eclipse season and is a highly energetically charged time where it is easier for us to connect with the other side, and easier for them to communicate with us. Since this astrological event is happening in the sign of Scorpio there are a lot of scorpionic themes that we were challenged with in our healing. Scorpio rules the 8th house in astrology and has to do with things like death & the underworld, sex and taxes. During this eclipse season we swam through emotions like fear, angry, lust and even greed. In transversing these emotions the key is to reflect and realise that we are not our emotions so we should not allow ourselves to be controlled by them in anyway. The ruling planets of Scorpio are Mars and Pluto, which is the planet of the underworld and during this eclipse season many of you have noticed an increase of sighting spirits that go bump in the night. It is important with this Plutoian influence that you take extra care to cleanse and protect your energy. The modern-day ruler of Scorpio is Mars which is a very masculine energy and with this influence we should be careful of our temper and the way we react and respond to others. Remember that we can’t control how others speak to or treat us but we can always control how we respond. The more aware and open you are to your emotions the more control you will be able to exercise.

The second important thing to take into consideration is that the Full Moon is in Taurus. Taureans are hard-working, determined, self-driven, ambitious individuals who are usually great with money. They also tend to be stubborn and slow to open up to others, a creature of comfort. This full moon is having an influence over our career and bringing in big money and abundance shifts.
