New moons are a great time to have a look at your goals and become clear on what you would like to manifest. As the moon moves through the different zodiacs it takes on the energy of that sign and amplifies it. Since Leo is a fire sign it is important to watch out for keeping the ‘red’ emotions at bay like anger, lust, frustration or obsession. The more you understand about each zodiac and the planets the better of an idea you will be able to gain on what type of healing is coming into focus with each shift.

Both the Princess and King of Pentacles came up which is indicating that there is a big focus on career and money moves. Many of you have been thinking about your occupation and how it may be adequately or inadequately providing for you at this time. If you have new ideas you would like to pursue in your career but feel overwhelmed by change it is recommended that you put pen to paper so you can clearly see your goals and aspirations. Fire does represent the masculine element which is concerned around the material world and so it makes sense that there should be new news for your money and job status. Leo also represents the Father energy of the zodiac and this may be a good time to reevaluate your relationship with your old man. At times it can be difficult to heal relationships with people who seem like they refuse to change and grow but remember to keep the focus on yourself. There is always something to learn and reflect upon in our relationships even if that’s practicing calm and tempered responses. Anger is a self-poison so we must be weary of holding unnecessary space for this emotion. All emotions are valid and it is important we make time to feel and express each but we must be careful of becoming sucked-up and all consumed in any emotion / situation or person.

The appearance of the four of cups is an indication that you need to express yourself more and once again journaling will be really good for your emotional and mental well-being and particularly healing for your throat chakra. This card can represent stuck or stagnant emotions and can also be a sign that it is high time to have that conversation around boundaries where necessary. The last card we have coming up for the New Moon energy is the Wheel of Fortune which is a really great card and an indication that we are moving through karmic cycles and learning the lessons we intended to work through in this lifetime. The Wheel speaks of experiencing each season and being able to take the lessons of each to culminate in a holistic understanding of your world and the universe.
