Most enlightened souls go through dietary changes as our energy is upgrading and shifting and often remove the consumption of meat from their diet. Although we are constantly ascending and our energy is always shifting, when I went through my most notable enlightenment in 2019 my diet changed in many ways. In fact food totally became unappetising and not something that I was concerned with. In that case not only had I stopped eating meat but I wasn’t eating much else other than things like fruit, muffins and nuts. I am Hindu so there are days in the week that I chose to abstain from meat in a sacrificial fast, although on the days I am not fasting I do not limit myself from any foods. This is something that I have contemplated over intensely and had many conversations with my Spirit Guides about whether meat should be removed from our diet to support our light, energetic body’s growth. In my findings at this point I do not think that it is necessary or asked of us to cut out any pleasures. In fact this Earth is a place of pleasure and experience, yes there is a lot of pain and heartache since we did reincarnate on this to learn but it is a place of polarity. In whatever experiences we chose to engage in it is our responsibility to enjoy in a balanced way without causing harm to others.
Our human existence is complex and impossible for us to understand and conceptualise in our simple human potential, but we must remember that the soul and mind are rooted and survive only with the support of the body. Just like other mammals we require certain minerals, vitamins and sustenance to fuel our body so that it can support the mind and soul. It is believed that all living souls have karma and when we consume animals we take on their karma. Where you find yourself in a situation where your diet (supplements included) is not sufficiently supporting your physical well-being, in that you may feel tired, distracted and ungrounded (indications that the root chakra is not being sufficiently supported) it is a clear indication that the measures you are taking with your diet are not appropriately fuelling your physical body.
One of the senses I experience during readings is taste, and in a reading I was conducting with someone who identified as a Lord Krishna devote and had been vegetarian their whole life, I had the sensation of tasting Nandos chicken. I honestly felt a little embarrassed to share this sensation since at that time I associated the consumption of meat with impureness but when I relayed the taste my client laughed and exclaimed that her doctor had asked her to please start including more natural sources of protein in her diet since the supplements were no longer sufficient and her health was suffering as a result. Through conducting readings I learn a lot from Spirit and something they are constantly reminding us all lately is exploring the mind and soul is extremely exciting and interesting but it is the human body that is exquisite and temporary unlike the mind and soul, so allow yourself to explore and experience life.
