Before we re-incarnate (in our higher-self state of mind), we get to make a series of decisions about the material, unchangeable details of this reincarnation. Earth is a plane that souls re-incarnate onto to learn and work through our karmic lessons so the decisions we make about our life path like about parents and location of birth is connected to the karmic lessons we intend to unlock.

In the considerations about the place, time and family we are to be born into there is also consideration of soul connections that we may meet on our path and often times we reincarnate at the same time as our soul families so that we can reunite on earth. There are many different types of soul connections like Karmics, Soulmates and Twin flames but the commonality in them all is the pull and intensity of the soul connection that can’t be ignored. Our relationships are our biggest karmic blueprint in that we become extremely reflective about ourselves and our behaviour in how it may have caused or added to our own heartbreak and disappointment.

Important things to keep in mind when you have met someone from a past life time:

1. Do not define the connection only on soul terms, make sure you truthfully see it for what it is in this reincarnation. As much as you may know each other in lifetimes consider that you can still get aquatinted in this life time as new people.
2. We have many many souls that we have formed bonds with so don’t feel like its a once-in-a-lifetime occurrence when you meet a soulmate since this will limit and block you from meeting other soulmates.
3. Timelines are important to understand with soul connections since even though we may contracted that we meet a specific soul at a certain time in our path, our free will must still be expressed in the relationship. In different timelines there could be different soulmates that you meet or end up in relationships with depending on the life choices you make with your free will.
4. Soul connections always come with karmic lessons, so don’t expect them to be perfect and complementary. In fact expect them to be triggering since you would have contracts to initiate and enable growth for the soul.
