The Red Thread of Fate articulates that each person has one or more red string connections where they will be drawn toward meeting a specific soul. There are many different types of soul connections varying in intensity from Karmic Partners, Soulmates and Twinflames. The commonality between the three is that there is a soul recognition and in a previous lifetime these two souls have already met. Depending on the amount of times they met and relationships that ensued will tell us a little bit more about what type of connection it could be. Our karma most starkly reflects within our relationships so it is important to remember whatever the soul connection, even if this is the first time you are uniting with a new soul there are karmic lessons that you contracted to play out that we can clearly observe through our relationships patterns. When we are in relationships, especially romantic ones, we become very reflective about our behaviour and how it might be affecting others. In this regard when you are consistently having trouble in your relationships it is always healthy to take the perspective back to you and what you can control, which is your reaction and response to the relationships / person. Oftentimes we get so wrapped up in these we can’t control we don’t even realise how mentally de-stabilising it can be to get so absorbed in our inner world and mind space that we find it difficult or impossible to deal with our reality.

Karmic Partners:

These are the most common type of soul connection and people usually end up marrying Karmics thinking they are soulmates. What is interesting is that Karmic Partners are a couple of layers or depth away from upgrading their connection in a Soulmate Connection. These relationships are characterised by high highs and low lows and it is very easy to mistake a karmic for a soulmate or even Twinflame since the pull of the soul connection can be so blinding.

Soulmates:

These are our ideal partners and those who end up with their soulmates whether in marriage, friendship or family connections will experience a very harmonious, balanced and complementary connection. Soulmates can be created as we venture through our life times we chose the souls that we intend to meet again and through the development of the relationship the soul tie is formed. We can have an infinite amount of soulmates and often have deep karmic contracts that we set out in theses relationships so naturally they will also have many ups and downs.

Twinflames:

These are the rarest type of soul connection in that they cannot be made like Karmics or Soulmates. A Twinflame is one soul who has split into two components: The Divine Feminine and the Divine Masculine. These are not necessary aligned to biological gender and it is possible as a woman to identify as the DM. These relationships usually do not make it long term and it is extremely rare that twins marry due to the intensity of the connection.
