Path to Enlightenment

The aim of the intuition course is to provide you with a starter pack of information to equip you on your journey to enlightenment. Remember that we can take this journey many times at many levels and our experiences are only what we take from them no matter what level of spiritual enlightenment you may be at this stage. This should ignite your curiosity further and encourage you to seek more answers about the things you wonder about. It’s important to ground your path to enlightenment in remembering that we reincarnated onto the earth plane to be present in this time and dimension. As much as it is exciting for us to explore our soul depth we must always relate that to the experience that we are having here because it is all connected. Mind, Body and Spirit are elements within our human-ness that we need to figure out how to balance. Mind represents our inner world, emotions, thoughts and feminine energy of intuition, psychic ability and receiving. Body represents our outer material world, relationships, career, the physical health of the body and the

masculine energy of controlling, planning and doing. Spirit represents our soul and our connection with our higher power.

Every journey begins at a place of curiosity and a desire to understand more about our worlds and energy. Our journeys have no specific start point since we are constantly receiving communication and guidance of spirit there just comes a time of awareness where we realise this. My spiritual journey began with a curiosity of crystals, yoga and chakras. There are many different paths you can take in enlightenment and things you can explore like astrology, numerology and even colour therapy. What is important to remember is that we pick the tools and experiences we have on this path with the aim of learning and unlocking our karma and fullest potential. In 2020, I took a trip to Dullstroom where there are many exquisite crystal stores, having just learnt about chakras in a recently read book, I started to connect crystal healing and yoga to help with balancing out and aligning my chakras. Experiencing a kundalini awakening was also a point where my gifts really opened.

Chakras:

The chakras are an energy system that connects the elements of body, mind and spirit. The seven basic chakras start at the base of the spine with the root chakra and end at the crown chakra at the top of the head. The lower chakras are related to the physical body and sexuality, the middle chakras to emotions and the higher chakras govern the mind and connection to spirit chakras are in the colour scheme of a rainbow and those with open and strong chakras are more likely to gain a rainbow aura.

Our chakras can guide us on the karma that we intend to solve by analysing our blockages. Our blockages in understanding where they stem from can give us detail on the specific karmic debt we are there to resolve. There are different psychic abilities that sit in different chakras, for instance empaths have psychic ability in their heart chakra and mediums in their crown. When you begin or continue to learn more about your chakras, you will start to understand where your energy strengths and weaknesses lay.

Although there are so many ways you can go about healing or working with your chakras, I can suggest a few tips and guidelines to go by. It is extremely important that you recognise that this is only a base starting point and there is much more for you to learn about your personal chakra system. Chakra music: Sound vibration is an easy and effortless way to open and heal your chakras. I would recommend that you seek some chakra music on Youtube to play in the background while you go about your day or tasks. Cleansing: When we repress emotions, experiences or memories they can get stuck in our chakras and cause blockages. Participating in cleansing, you assist your energetic body in releasing and cleansing your lower vibrational energy. Charging and releasing: Any vibrational thing can both take in energy and give out energy, so in order to understand the best healing technique, we need to understand the blockage. Crystals: Crystals can be used as an energy tool to assist you with your chakra work. Try matching the colour of the crystal to that chakra to figure out which crystal you should be using.

Meditation and Yoga

Both spiritual practices are equally important in your journey to enlightenment. Yoga can be used to release, balance and align your chakras and thus energy. I would recommend that you start off small and challenge yourself to incorporate 1 minute of yoga stretches (one for each chakra) into your daily routine. Consider what healing tools you can add to the experience: sight, outdoor yoga, smell (incense/ essential oil), touch. Kundalini yoga is a dangerous practice but if safely conducted can lead to a kundalini enlightenment. As with anything consistency is key and these are results that you will only be able to appreciate in retrospect.

Meditation is crucial for psychic development since it most particularly stimulates the third eye, but can be used for any intention. What is important to take into consideration is what you want to gain from your meditation, the intention. Different

Crystals and Healing Tools:

In whatever way you can support yourself in your healing, make space for your inner child by providing assistance with healing tools. There are many different types of tools we can use to work with our energy: sound bowls, meditation beads, pendulums just to name a few. Crystals are an awesome energy tool to start with since they can be quite affordable and accessible. Crystals like us, like plants and animal each have their own vibration. Different crystals can be used for different tasks and energy work. It is important to note that since our energy tools take on energy we also need to cleanse and release from them. Oftentimes when the crystal has done its job in our life we may lose it or it could break. This like everything else on the earth plane does not belong to us and is a good way to work with the conception of attachment.
